Darmody House is a tastefully decorated home set on a quite street in the established suburb of Weetangera in south-east Belconnen. Just 5 minutes from the Belconnen Town centre and 15 minutes from the City it is centrally located to allow easy access to Canberra’s major attractions.

There are two guests’ rooms both with recently refurbished en-suites with modern, clean lines and state of the art fittings. The Brindabella Room, with its bright funky bedding and modern beech furniture has a king sized bed but can allsoTea and coffee making facilities are available in both rooms. All rooms have both evaporative cooling and ducted heating for year round comfort.

The tariff includes a scrumptious continental breakfast. Guests can select from; cereals, pastries, toasted breads and conserves, fruit juice and tea or coffee.

A hot breakfast is available by prior arrangement for an extra $20. Guests may select from the following:

Smoked salmon omelet
Scrambled eggs, wilted spinach and baked pesto tomatoes
Marinated mushroom on sourdough bread
Locally cured bacon, eggs (poached, scrambled or fried), mushrooms and baked beans or hash browns.

Breakfast is served in the guest dining room which adjoins the guests’ private lounge – The Green Room. This elegant room has leather wing chair, ottoman and Chesterfield couch set around the traditional William IV fireplace. The entertainment unit houses a large television, video and DVD player for guest use.

The yard boasts a 70 000 litre in ground pool, large heated spa, outdoor furniture and a barbecue all of which are available for use by guests.
