"We had a wonderful stay at 'The Pommy Tree' as the hosts were warm and friendly. The place was immaculate. Mark had a lovely afternoon tea set out upon our arrival of cheese, pickles and crackers and chocolates. He is was very welcoming and we were made to feel at home straight away. We met his wife Deb a couple of times and she is lovely also. There was a gym set up in the garage, plenty of parking outside, big living areas and a pool to swim in on hot days. The free Wifi worked throughout our stay which was a bonus. This place is the best!" Whiti5 - Trip Advisor
"Hidden treasure in the "burbs
Wow ! What a beautiful experience to stay in some ones home and be made feel so welcome. Have travelled but I've never done B&B before. Absolutely spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms and the food (breakfast) was amazing. Mark and Deb make you feel like family. If your a B&B kind of person, this place is the bomb." "Great people, lovely warm and welcoming.
Deb and Mark were the most welcoming hosts, nothing was too much for them and I will certainly be looking forward to staying with them again next time I'm in Canberra. The rest of my family stayed in a brand new Motel very close by and the atmosphere there in their rooms was very cold and impersonal in comparison to The Pommy Tree. Even the daily feeding of the local magpies on the back deck was an experience filled with laughter and joy! What a great place to stay!! Pros: Everything! Cons: Nothing, Deb and Mark, just keep doing what you are doing and the way you are doing it! You were great!! Location: Very quiet neighbourhood, very little street noise if any. Nearby parks and tourist attractions very close by." Craig
